BaffleGab is any ambiguous or patently incorrect statement intended to confuse – based on the premise that B.S. baffles brains.  George Orwell created a special category of Bafflegab in his book “1984” called NewSpeak, one category of which is DoubleThink.

One example of DoubleThink in 2013 is the continuous confusion of concepts related to the political spectrum such as the confusion of Fascism and Communism.
